Job Summary:
Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join our growing women’s program at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan in San Antonio, Texas.
Job Details:
Full scope of MFM, no deliveries No call responsibility to start, growing into shared call model Flexible schedule Provide coverage for one hospital and one hospital-based clinic Mentorship available from partnered physician Unique opportunity to build and expand an MFM practice with the potential to hire physician partners and additional advanced practice providers Advanced practice provider support Large referral base serving San Antonio and South Texas Hospital based clinic with level II sonographer Employed opportunity with competitive salary driven by MGMA data and industry benchmarking Benefits including health, life, vision, dental and disability insurance 401k plan with competitive employer-matched rates CME allowance and relocation assistance Occurrence based malpractice coverage, including tail No state income tax
Qualified Candidates:
Must be US board eligible/certified in maternal fetal medicine Eligible for licensure in the state of Texas Experienced and new grads encouraged to apply

378-bed facility, 12 operating suites Over 3,000 deliveries performed annually Dedicated women’s pavilion features seven antepartum beds, 16 labor-and-delivery suites, 35 postpartum rooms and 16 Level III NICU beds Dedicated entrance and OB emergency department Methodist Healthcare System is the largest provider of health care in South and Central Texas with 28 facilities, including nine acute care hospitals serving over 94,000 inpatients and 500,000 outpatients annually
