Key Responsibilities:
Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.- Set up and operate large CNC and conventional horizontal boring mills, machining centers, lathes, and VTLs.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform "hands-on" programming and editing of CNC machines (for CNC applicants).
- Utilize shop math to calculate machining speeds, feeds, and dimensions.
- Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of machining experience.
- Proficiency in setup and fixturing of large parts.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, shop math, and speeds/feeds.
- Experience with CNC programming and editing (for CNC machinists).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision.
