Pinckney Carter, a Member of Correll Insurance Group, is in immediate need of a Personal Lines Account Manager at our North Charleston, SC location.

The Personal Lines Account Manager will provide a high level of sales support to the Producer and customer service to clients. The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion to meet those service levels. The Account Manager will assist in producing new and renewal accounts in line with Agency and individual Producer goals and provide field service in support of Producer activities. They will assist clients with service needs and make changes to existing accounts, working with the Producer to design and recommend appropriate insurance and risk management programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quoting new business and remarketing renewals as needed
  • Updating necessary items in the management system and communicating with clients accordingly
  • Responding to client emails, calls, and requests for endorsements and certificates, maintaining accurate electronic files
  • Working with Producers to provide client documents, checklists, and proposals
  • Using support tools to maintain an organized workstation
  • Establishing relationships with clients, prospects, and insurance companies via phone, email, and written correspondence
  • Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects
  • Researching and resolving coverage questions
  • Promptly responding to client needs on calls or electronically
  • Cultivating new opportunities and offering additional insurance lines through consultative selling
  • Assisting with other office duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Personal Lines P&C Account Manager or similar
  • Ability to obtain Property and Casualty Insurance License within 6-12 months; Correll will assist with scheduling courses and covering licensing fees
  • Proficiency in AMS360 and ImageRight (Worksmart) preferred but not required
