Job Description:
Grand Villa Senior Living of Palm Bay is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our senior residents with safe and reliable transportation throughout the area, ensuring they can access essential services and participate in community activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and timely transportation for senior residents to appointments, events, and activities.
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, ensuring it meets safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and family members regarding transportation needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating transportation requests.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving, preferably with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and demonstrate patience and empathy.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
