Please note: Your schedule may vary during the training period, and a Passenger Endorsement (P) is required.
What You'll Be Doing (Your Daily Route):
- Mastering the Road: Safely transport passengers to their destinations, always adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- The Captain of Clean: Keep your vehicle in tip-top shape, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment for everyone.
- A Helping Hand: Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring a comfortable experience for all.
- Customer Service Champion: Provide exceptional customer service, making every ride a positive interaction.
- Route Navigator: Expertly follow designated routes and schedules, keeping us on track.
- Safety First: Prioritize the safety and well-being of every passenger, always.
- Data Driven: Accurately collect fares and report ridership numbers and mileage.
- Eyes on the Road (and the Bus!): Inspect your bus for any mechanical issues and promptly report them to your supervisor using the designated forms.
- Beyond the Wheel: Take on other duties as assigned, keeping things running smoothly.
- Driving Prowess: Previous professional driving experience is a must, preferably in a similar role such as school bus driving or as a dedicated van driver.
- The Golden Ticket: A valid Texas CDL with a Passenger (P) endorsement is absolutely required.
- A Heart for People: Experience working with children, seniors, or individuals requiring special care is a significant plus.
- Engaging Educator: The ability to effectively educate and engage passengers during their journey.
- Clear Communication: Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a fantastic bonus!
- Expert Driving Skills: A clean driving record and demonstrated excellent driving abilities.
