Job Details
The Personal Lines Account Manager will manage and service a book of personal insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities include providing personalized service, handling renewals, processing policy changes, and advising clients on suitable insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Service and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships, respond promptly to inquiries, address concerns, conduct client reviews.
- Policy Management: Handle new business, renewals, policy changes, review applications, endorsements, cancellations, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities, provide quotes, achieve sales targets.
- Claims Assistance: Guide clients through the claims process, liaise with carriers and adjusters.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Stay updated on industry trends, ensure legal and ethical compliance, conduct risk assessments.
- Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues, participate in meetings, contribute to best practices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISR, CIC) are a plus. 2-3 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a proven track record. Skills include knowledge of insurance products, excellent communication, organizational skills, proficiency in software, and a sales-oriented mindset.
