PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a highly experienced CNC Machinist for a full-time role supporting a fast-paced prototype and rapid-response manufacturing environment in McKinney, TX. This is not your typical production floor - you'll be part of a highly skilled team working on complex components, mission-critical repairs, and next-gen prototype builds.If you thrive in a high-mix, low-volume shop, value craftsmanship, and want to be hands-on in developing parts that make a difference, this is a unique opportunity to take your CNC career to the next level.Shift Schedule: Training: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (for 2-10 weeks) Post-Training: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM Candidates must be available for both shifts.Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize and execute machining strategies for one-off or low-volume parts Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis horizontal/vertical machining centers, lathes, jig bores, and trunnions Create and optimize machining programs using GibbsCAM or similar software Design and build holding fixtures for complex or cast parts Perform manual inspections using standard gauges and tools Interpret GD&T, engineering drawings, and CAD models Troubleshoot and adjust machining processes to meet tight tolerances Collaborate closely with design engineers, operations, and maintenance teamsMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) 5+ years' experience setting up and running CNC mills/lathes/jig bores/trunnions CNC programming experience (GibbsCAM, MasterCAM, etc.) Ability to read and work from complex engineering drawings Proficient with manual inspection tools and techniques Able to lift up to 28 lbsPreferred Qualifications: AAS in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent technical education Experience with GibbsCAM, ProE, and PDM for CAD model integration Familiarity with Fanuc controls, Renishaw probes, and tool compensation macros Skilled in machining aluminum and stainless steel Experience with CMM analysis, fixture design, and full part lifecycle (program, machine, inspect, deliver) Prior work in prototype, repair, or R&D shopsJob ID: 14862562Location: McKinney, TX (On-Site)Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
