Pay Information $2,081 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 20 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in telemetry - Must be able to titrate drips - Common diagnoses include Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, and heart failure - Experience with nasal, face masks, and BiPap Description: Candidates must have experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, along with the successful completion of at least one travel contract. The unit has 12 beds, and the nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1. Charge nurses take an assignment. Nurse aids are present on this unit with a ratio of 12:1. The unit does not have Tele/Monitor Techs; monitoring is done remotely. Registered Nurses are not required to read their own strips. The tele monitors are provided by Space Lab. Self-scheduling is allowed, and staff is expected to work every other weekend. Holidays are also required. There is no call or standby requirement, and there is no floating between units. The dress code is navy scrubs. The charting system used is MEDITECH - 6.1.
