Pay Information $2,308 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekend Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with common diagnoses such as Chest Pain, COPD, AMS, Pneumonia, UTI, and Abdominal Pain. Description: The unit has a total of 32 beds, consisting of 12 for Stepdown and 20 for general floor care. Patient ratios are 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:4-6 for floor patients. RNs are required to titrate drips in the Stepdown unit. The staff works with telemetry monitoring, and RNs must be able to read strips. Charge nurses are budgeted for each unit, and a house supervisor is always available. The unit operates with nurse aids, allowing for a ratio of 4 nurse aids when fully staffed. Weekend work and holiday requirements must be accommodated as per the schedule. Floating to different units may occur based on staffing needs. Scrub color for staff is royal blue.
