Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas according to health and safety standards. Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Remove trash and recycling, and maintain cleanliness in designated disposal areas. Assist in receiving, unloading, and organizing kitchen deliveries as needed. Ensure that all cleaning and sanitation supplies are stocked and stored properly. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Support the culinary team by ensuring all tools and equipment are in working condition and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness in storage areas, including dry storage, refrigerators, and freezers. Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned by the Executive Chef or Stewarding Supervisor. Qualifications
Previous stewarding or kitchen cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Team player with a positive attitude. Work Environment
Fast-paced hotel/restaurant kitchen environment. Exposure to hot, humid, or cold conditions and cleaning chemicals. Schedule
Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
