Citi's Functions Technology is responsible for delivering Technology solutions to Citi's Functions organizations. Functions Technology mission is to optimize Citi's Technology environment by delivering world class applications, driving standardization of the production environment, reducing complexity, optimizing management of systems supporting global functions such as Compliance, Controls and Risk, and introducing innovative technologies that provide new business capabilities, reduce the technology total cost of ownership, and create a competitive advantage for Citi. Enterprise Risk Management Technology within Functions Technology supports global functions partners such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM), Retail Credit Risk, Operational Risk and Model Risk The Data Governance Foundation Sr Lead Analyst is responsible for leading activities that contribute to the definition of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy, and plays a critical role in leading activities to support implementation of the Data Governance Policy/Data Risk and Control framework. This Data Governance Foundation Sr Lead Analyst partners with a range of stakeholders and ensure that Citi Data Governance Policies and Standards are effectively implemented as part of the Article V Data Use Cases across Enterprise Risk Technology. Responsibilities: Central point of contact for Data Governance within Enterprise Risk Technology, including driving the alignment and effective implementation of Citi Data Governance Policy and the associated obligations Drives the adoption of data governance capabilities and standards defined by Enterprise Data Office and ensures that data quality practices are managed across Enterprise Risk Technology to satisfy regulatory requirements Monitor alignment to the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and standards across Enterprise Risk Technology to meet its specific requirements Liaise between the Enterprise Data Office and other key partners in Risk Management and Technology to progress the Data Transformation agenda Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the day-to-day execution activities and meetings Deliver within work streams focusing on a broad range of Data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, and taxonomy Educates team on data quality tools, techniques and principles Interface with key stakeholders, businesses and technology partners to champion data quality initiatives Prepare and present status updates and solutions to stakeholders, business partners and technology teams in a succinct manner to drive decision and action Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies, escalating as required Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely execution of milestones, provide reporting of potential risks to delivery, and incorporate milestone reporting and changes Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related area Working knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance and Data Compliance within large, financial services firms Experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs, including identifying and resolving issues; executing against Data Quality strategies and policies Possesses an observable and impactful delivery track record on business or risk function transformation Deep subject matter expertise around end-to-end data flows within technology ecosystem Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to synthesize key messages and build relationships with senior risk and technology stakeholders Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
