Lab Technician
Bongards' is looking for a Lab Technician at our Perham, MN facility. Bongards' offers excellent pay and a positive work environment. Starting pay is $25.26 per hour. Work closely with and interact effectively with production personnel to assist in producing products which meet all the prescribed standards and customer specifications. Monitor compliance to accepted standards from reception of raw products through in-process testing to analysis of finished products. Become proficient at data entry in company Inventory data base. Create, maintain and enter data on all lab and plant Excel spreadsheets Assist in maintaining required documentation and files for quality system and regulatory compliance. Maintaining laboratory equipment and performing calibrations and comparisons. Provide patron members with excellent customer service; performing requested analysis to procure a quality milk supply. Have ability to sample products, accurately perform all required lab tests, and maintain machine calibrations. Obtain individual testing licenses and lab certification from State of Minnesota. May need to take in-plant samples as needed. Understand the plant commitment to customers' quality expectations. Keep clear, accurate, and timely records. Perform other duties as assigned by management Skills and Qualifications: Prior lab experience preferred. Knowledge of sanitary procedures preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50# repeatedly. Must be able to frequently stoop, crouch, twist and turn. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines Ability to work independently on assigned duties. Schedule: The shift will be from 6 AM to 6 PM. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday Pay: Starting Pay $25.26.
