Design and manage databases using SQL, such as PostgreSQL. API Integration:
Develop and consume Cloud-native RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and back-end connectivity. Design for High Availability:
Create solutions with high performance and 99.99% resilience. Testing and Debugging:
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure quality, aiming for 100% test coverage with automated testing. Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers and other engineers to define and implement innovative solutions. Code Reviews:
Participate in reviews to maintain code quality. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with emerging technologies to improve development processes. Full Product Lifecycle Engagement:
Engage in all stages as a full-stack engineer. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in Java development. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-related modules. Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Ability to publish REST APIs meeting Ford's security standards. Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular. Support for end-to-end development including batch jobs, APIs, and Angular applications. Familiarity with Git.
