We are hiring a 1st Shift Lead (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) to supervise, coordinate, and execute receiving activities to ensure a safe and efficient operation at our Columbus Ohio location. This full-time hourly position starts at $24/Hour and will report to the Facility Manager to support our customers with high quality, accurate, and timely service. Duties and Responsibilities: Receive products from carriers, off loading trucks, coordinating devanning of containers. Communicating with Support and Merchant Determines inventory locations for incoming products. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases. Monitors in-transit and arrived advanced shipping notice Measure and quantify products coming into the warehouse. Accomplishes organization and inventory accuracy by completing starting and ending shift checklists. Non compliant receiving. Identification of non-compliance. Documentation of issue. Remedy of non-compliance.
Label, Downstack, Create return/ASN Bill for compliance charges. Closed and put away.
Merchant QA Inspection. Documentation of the QA issue. Refurbish or remedy the defective quality.
Scheduling, Execute, Inspect. Bill for QA and work. Received in and put away.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to respond to requests promptly and resolve issues quickly. Effective skills in problem solving, planning, staffing, and executing warehouse operations. Ability to lead a diverse workforce; to effectively develop employees, and communicate objectives. Available during non-standard hours, access to a cell phone, and able to respond to after hour emergencies. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, and technology equipment including WMS and (RF) Scanners. Preferred Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum three years of previous leadership experience in receiving operations. Minimum one year in an environment picking, packing into parent units, and building pallets for shipment. Physical Capabilities and Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time through hot and cold temperatures. Ability to repetitively twist or turn to drive in reverse; and stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed. Ability to turn steering wheel on lift truck requiring full rotation of arms and shoulders. Must be willing and able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, and slide, push, or pull cases up to 50 pounds.
