Data Governance Technology Lead
The Data Governance Technology Lead is a senior-level position responsible for data governance implementation of Data Domains, including identifying and documenting data lineage, critical data elements, authoritative data sources, data quality rules, and investigating any data-related issues. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of attribute-level data lineage, critical data element decomposition, application performance, and other measures to gain insight and drive data governance planning and data remediation. Responsibilities: Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume data governance implementation efforts in partnership with business partners and stakeholders. Manage complex application and critical data element-level lineage across geographies and products for Citi Transaction Services. Contribute to formulation of strategies/processes to implement Data Domain and Governance policies, identify and register Critical Data Element and Authorized Data Sources, Authorized Data Sources adoption. Responsible for data quality validation and remediation from root cause analysis through remediation planning and providing input to business and Technology based on analysis of information. Develop communication to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and external customers. Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business and filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources. Qualifications: 6-10 years of relevant experience. Technical experience to include intermediate/advanced SQL skills; Python, Java, Visual Studio, Ab Initio, Data Lineage capture tools (i.e.: IBM Manta, Ab Initio mHub), or other development languages helpful. Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools. Proven diplomatic and analytical skills. Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly. Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needs. Working knowledge of project management techniques/methods. Experience in systems analysis helpful. Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
