The posted compensation range of $53.68 - $62.50 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. The incumbent demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The incumbent will perform arterial punctures, continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, infection control, isolation procedures, maintenance and operation of mechanical ventilators, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, aerosolized medication delivery for the treatment of pulmonary disease, and medical gas administration. The incumbent will access the medications from the medication storage unit and the nurse servers in the patient care areas. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested in professional manner. Experience: Two (2) years experience in an acute care hospital setting with 1 year being critical care. If no qualified candidate, may consider training positions, depending on staffing needs. Completion of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program. Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner with the State of California. BLS (American Heart Association). PALS (American Heart Association). ACLS. Preferred: National Board of Respiratory Care certification is preferred. Pulmonary function testing, arterial blood gas quality control and bronchoscopy experience.
