CMA (AAMA). RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA) or NRCMA (NHAP) certification within 90 days of hire. OR Active military members and veterans with formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or its equivalent during U.S. military services within the past five years and be able to obtain one of the following certifications within 90 days of hire. CMA (AAMA). RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA) or NRCMA (NHAP) certification within 90 days of hire. OR Licensed Paramedic in the State of Michigan. OR Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan. Urgent Care hours 8-8 M-F and 8-2 Sat Family Medicine hours 7:30a-5:30p M-F What Medical Assistants, MAs Will Do: Room set up and patient preparation. Taking vitals Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations. Performing office tests Administrative duties Position would primarily be supporting urgent care and would include every other weekend and a rotation of holidays.
