Institutional Investment Operations Specialist

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist within our Client Service team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking Operations. The Client Services team in CIB Operations Shared Services is responsible for supporting internal and external customers by providing moderate to complex support services in account management, operations, documentation, and customer service. The Operations Shared Services team is a cross-functional group of teams that provides support for reference data as well as the broader Wells Fargo organization. The Shared Services organization aims to be the owners and stewards of both client and product data with a focus on operational excellence and superior client servicing. In this role, you will: Providing strong customer service while balancing the needs of clients, shareholders, and team members Managing escalations and resolving customer inquiries with minimal supervision along with covering overflow from other desks in the department as needed Work in a demanding environment, be able to multi-task and prioritize daily workload to meet deadlines and close out all daily tasks on time and ensuring proper and timely escalation when issues arise Analyzing complex issues raised by clients and internal partners data partners Collaborating across multiple teams, identifying root cause of issues, and proposing both tactical and strategic solutions Providing subject matter expertise on team's processes and projects Reviewing and analyzing functional operational tasks that require research, evaluation, and exercise independent judgment to guide the deliverable Identifying potential risk in daily processes and suggesting changes Participating in testing for technology changes Reviewing and revising departmental procedures as needed Performing outreaches to internal external clients/internal sales staff Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: A four-year degree, ideally with Business, Finance, or three years related/equivalent work experience within the Financial Service industry Sound knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, etc.) Ability to develop and negotiate solutions to issues with partners or clients including escalations as needed Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams with an end goal of improving service for clients Ability to prioritize & manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline-driven change environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time management and prioritization skills Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners to ensure all daily functions are completed timely Ability to analyze business situations and problem solve, including making recommendations for resolution Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing business initiatives Experience with Broadridge systems including Impact, BPS Ability to focus on the big picture, while understanding and promoting details across multiple groups Job Expectations: Ability to work a hybrid schedule Willingness to work on-site at the stated location on the job opening This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Posting Location: 550 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202 This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
