Entering 2025, the team strives to expand the width and scope of fixed income market research with full coverage on US policy, market events, macro data, etc. Additionally, the team is actively involved in cross-department functionalities to increase the synergy of the department. With many exciting initiatives in the business pipeline, the team is eager to on-board an intern with math/financial and/or engineering/programming background to execute the business initiatives and assist with critical tasks. Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to: US Fixed Income Daily Mark-to-Market (MTM) Report US Fixed Income Daily Relative Value Report Daily Operation contact with middle office and back office CIBM efforts (including CIBM bond investment & hedge related front/middle/back office work) Mortgage related valuation, prepayment, etc. Macro & monetary policy research Monthly Report with ESG/CRA projects Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalence (Junior/Senior acceptable) required. Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Financial engineering related major preferred Intermediate understanding in coding languages including but not limited to SQL/R/Python/Java/C++ is a plus Basic knowledge in research required; Experience in global FICC esp. fixed income and interest rate is preferred Basic writing skills and knowledge in macro are a must Bilingual ability in Mandarin and English is preferred Interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) is a must Ability to collaborate with team members on research projects is a must+ Solid work ethic and high levels of motivation is a must Understanding in China/US macro indicators, currency and policies is preferred Pay Range
Actual salary is commensurate with candidate's relevant years of experience, skillset, education, and other qualifications. USD $18.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
