Staff Accountant
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented accountant to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing various accounting tasks and contributing to the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess strong skills in ERP systems and Excel. Responsibilities
Assist the Controller with daily cash management and treasury related tasks Reconcile bank and credit card transactions Support weekly payment processing Prepare journal entries and assist with balance sheet reconciliations Assist in tracking and reconciling inventory and COGS in the ERP system Support the month-end close process (under Controller's review) Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation Collaborate with the AP/AR team and other departments as needed Help prepare financial schedules and reports Perform ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required Previous accounting experience with a manufacturing company is required. 1-4 years of accounting experience Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar preferred) Working knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Professional communication skills and team-oriented mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills are a must, as well as willingness to accept and task ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment Knowledge of Word, and Outlook, and the ability to multi-task with moderate supervision Strong Excel skills (lookups, formulas, reconciliations) Work Environment
This role is part of a small accounting team and requires a fully in-office presence. Typical hours are 8-5, with flexibility in start/end times if needed. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
