Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities: Perform accurate quantity takeoffs, skin studies, and Gross Square Feet using On-Screen Take Off, Autodesk Revit, and Navisworks Manage. Fill in gaps for missing information from concept drawings and above. Develop trade-specific budget estimates for projects at different phases of design (i.e., schematics, design developments, and construction documents). Create comprehensive scopes of work for various Construction Specifications Institute divisions. Analyze proposals from trade contractors, develop bid leveling sheets for multiple trades, and provide cost savings suggestions. Prepare trade-specific qualifications with specific clarifications, inclusions, and exclusions. Meet with owners and Architecture/Engineering team to discuss and present design and pricing. Explain cost variances and recommend solutions as required to bring projects back within budget. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering required. Five years of estimating experience required, including any experience with: constructability details; recognizing cost-saving opportunities across multiple trades; and with On-Screen Takeoff, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, Bluebeam Revu, PlanGrid, and Procore. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering and five years of estimating experience, Employer will accept a Master's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering and three years of the above-listed estimating experience. OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety and Health certification required. Extensive travel on assignments to various unanticipated client sites within U.S. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
