Interventional Radiography Technician

We have an 84-bed Level III NICU and plan to significantly expand our pediatric specialty services. The hospital serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties, averaging a daily census of 641 patients. We're affiliated with UCSF as a teaching facility and have trained 3,000 Medical Doctor's to date plus we continue to invest in research and training grants. Opportunities for you! As a novice to advanced beginner (IR Tech 1) works with proceduralists as part of a procedural team to perform interventional procedures. Operates medical imaging equipment (single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiographic equipment, Ultrasound, Intravascular Ultrasound IVUS) and assists with device management. The procedures range from routine diagnostic angiographic procedures to complex vascular, non-vascular-interventional and therapeutic procedures. Qualifications
Education Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required Licenses and Certifications BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required CRTFP - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit required ARRT - American Registry Radiologic Technologists (Effective for all employees hired after 8.30.2020) required Preferred ARRT(VI) - ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography ARRT(CI) - ARRT Cardiac Interventional ARRT(CVI) - ARRT Cardiac-Vascular Intervention (still valid but not available for new examinees) Disclaimers
