Interventional Radiography Technician

As a novice to advanced beginner (IR Tech 1) works with proceduralists as part of a procedural team to perform interventional procedures. Operates medical imaging equipment (single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiographic equipment, Ultrasound, Intravascular Ultrasound IVUS) and assists with device management. The procedures range from routine diagnostic angiographic procedures to complex vascular, non-vascular-interventional and therapeutic procedures. Qualifications

Education Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required Licenses and Certifications BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required CRTFP - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit required ARRT - American Registry Radiologic Technologists (Effective for all employees hired after 8.30.2020) required Preferred ARRT(VI) - ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography ARRT(CI) - ARRT Cardiac Interventional ARRT(CVI) - ARRT Cardiac-Vascular Intervention (still valid but not available for new examinees) Disclaimers
