Floating Machine Operator

We are seeking a dedicated Floating Machine Operator to join our team in Biddeford. The role involves operating production equipment and mixing large batches to create plastic base material for other production departments. You will be cross-trained across all three departments to support the night shift. The position requires the ability to read and follow work instructions in English, both written and verbal, and involves lifting up to 60 lbs comfortably. Responsibilities

Operate production equipment efficiently. Mix large batches to create plastic base material. Cross-train in all departments to support the night shift. Read and follow work instructions in English, both written and verbal. Lift and handle materials weighing 60+ lbs. Wear a hooded respirator as required. Essential Skills

Machine operation experience. General labor skills. Production and packaging knowledge. Ability to lift 60+ lbs. Safety-first attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work within a team of less than 20 members on night shifts from Tuesday to Thursday, 2 PM to 2 AM. The role requires comfort in a hot environment and wearing a hooded respirator. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Biddeford, Maine. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
