Job Summary: Amazon is a leading technology company focused on customer obsession and innovation. They are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDE-T) who will create automated test scripts, collaborate with teams to validate and verify software, and develop automation frameworks to enhance testing processes. Responsibilities: Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to use technology to validate and verify software. Invent, refine and develop solutions to help lead fundamental changes in the industry. Build tools and automation frameworks that enable QA Engineers to easily automate tests. Troubleshoot, research and resolve defects. Create and manage bug reports and communicate with the team. Qualifications: Required: Currently working towards a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other equivalent discipline, with an expected graduation date between October 2023 September 2025 and/or graduated within the last 24 months. Knowledge of at least one object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python). Familiar with software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle. Familiar with software test techniques and strategy. Preferred: Previous technical internship(s) in an SDE-T or other QA role. Experience with test automation framework or tools (e.g., Junit, TestNG, Selenium). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
