Since then, we have produced amazing devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Echo, Hearables, Wearables, and Smart Eyewear. What will you help us create? As a System TPM, you lead the hardware engineering teams in developing products from concept to mass production. You own the end-to-end schedule, report on engineering issues, define mitigation strategies, lead cost down efforts, and keep senior management up-to-date on progress. Key job responsibilities as a Technical Program Manager include: Working with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements Deep diving on key technical issues and leading teams to find solutions within program constraints Owning cross-functional development schedules Leading cross-functional development on new technology from design through mass production, working across all hardware disciplines Working with remote teams across the world and traveling to Asia to complete prototype builds to test and validate our product designs Communicating regularly with senior management on status, risks and to drive key decision making Managing resource prioritization, driving cost down efforts, looking around corners to prevent common development pitfalls Leading key product development milestones following a waterfall style development within hardware About the team: We are a team of hardware TPMs with varying engineering backgrounds.
