Electromechanical Engineer Lead

You will be the Electromechanical Engineer Lead for the VBK LRIP contract, overseeing the hardware development and production efforts. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations, and you will play a key role in ensuring successful project execution. As the Electromechanical Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for: Leading the VBK hardware team through production, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of products Serving as a Material Review Board (MRB) authority, making informed technical decisions and driving issue resolution Managing and prioritizing tasks for a team of packaging engineers and support functions to ensure efficient project execution Supporting program planning and working closely with senior management, production, quality, and customer stakeholders to meet or exceed cost, schedule, and technical requirements Utilizing Windchill and CREO to support design engineering and production activities We're looking for an experienced and skilled Electromechanical Engineer Lead to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects, with familiarity with AVDS, VBK, and MAPS packaging systems. Discover more about our Orlando, Florida location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. An active secret clearance is required to start. Basic Qualifications: Secret clearance Experience with customer in defense CREO experience Windchill experience Team Management Desired Skills: Prior knowledge of AVDS, VBK and MAPS is preferred. IRAD to LRIP experience Work with production and Quality MRB Authority This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
