Capitol Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is looking for the ideal candidate to join our front office team. Our office is looking for a talented and pleasant patient care coordinator to take on all administrative and front office duties to provide an exceptional experience to all patients and visitors. Your Responsibilities You will be responsible for making a positive and lasting first impression. The ideal candidate should bridge the gap between customer obsession and clerical management. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while during their visit which means the following: Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism Manage a high volume of phone calls, emails, and appointment requests Coordinate patient scheduling, surgical consults, and follow-up visits Handle insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and patient paperwork Keep the front office running smoothly while balancing multiple priorities at once Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.) Ability to work 4 times a week As an essential member of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. Your Background You are a resourceful Patient Care Coordinator that strives to ensure patients receive the experience they deserve. You're a team player that is adaptable to new and challenging tasks. You're an enthusiastic, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who is always proactively striving for excellence. You also have the following: 1 year of proven experience as front desk representative, medical or dental experience preferred Exceptional multitasking skills

you'll often be juggling phones, scheduling, and in-person patients simultaneously Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail Professional communication skills
