As a Transportation Project Manager, you will perform oversight of planning and engineering support for procurement, scheduling, budgeting, administration, design, construction, operations and maintenance. This position will give you the chance to work on exciting transportation projects that will require your expertise, experience, and leadership as you proactively identify and solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions; and guide others in solving complex issues. In this role, other activities include: Conceptual and Geometric Schematic Design Development Review of environmental studies Plans, Specifications, Estimate (final design) development. Development of documents in support of funding and/or Federal Highway Administration guidelines/approvals Advanced planning Public involvement Surveying Right of way and utility support Hydraulic studies Geotechnical Services Program implementation including design and construction oversight as well as maintenance transition oversight Cost estimating Support in the development of procurement documents and tasks Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering At least 10 years relevant experience Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain within 6 months bases on P.E. license from another state Demonstrated progressive experience as an engineer and a project manager in the transportation design field Demonstrated knowledge of transportation projects Well-rounded technical design skills encompassing all contributing disciplines Strong client facing project manager with skills delivering design projects and can bring a team together Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
