The role you'll contribute: Performs a wide range of routine landscaping maintenance tasks using hand or power tools or equipment. Duties may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, spraying, edging, pruning and sprinkler installation. Must be able to work odd hours to get work completed. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you'll bring to the team: Planting, mowing, edging, mulching, daily trash/debris clean-up, trimming, pruning, blowing, watering, spraying in accordance with campus schedules and department standards. Treat nuisance weeds and undesirable vegetation in landscape bedding whether it be by chemical or physical means. Follow detailed department expectations for how and when to treat. Be a very strong team player with a positive attitude. Performs other duties as assigned. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: Valid state Class E driver's license and safe driving record in accordance with AdventHealth policy. Preferred qualifications: Two years of healthcare groundskeeper maintenance experience.
