About The Role
Envoy is looking for a Director of Demand Generation to architect and scale the growth engine that fuels our next stage of revenue expansion. You'll be responsible for building predictable, scalable pipeline by leading high-impact, multi-channel programs that convert our target audience into loyal customers. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and analytics, strategy and execution
and who knows how to turn $1 of marketing spend into $10+ in pipeline. This is an onsite position that requires 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ. You Will
Own the revenue engine
Develop and lead the full-funnel demand gen strategy, from awareness through closed-won, across paid, organic, events, and emerging channels.
Deliver measurable growth
Build repeatable campaigns that hit (and exceed) pipeline and revenue targets, not just lead volume.
Drive sales alignment
Partner with Sales and RevOps to define ICPs, improve lead quality, tighten SLAs, and ensure smooth handoffs that maximize conversion rates.
Lead with data
Establish KPIs, forecast pipeline contribution, and optimize spend in real time using performance insights.
Innovate and experiment
Identify new growth levers across channels, audiences, and geos; rapidly test and double down on what works. Collaborate cross-functionally
Work hand-in-hand with Content, PMM, and Design to ensure campaigns are on-message, high-impact, and brand-aligned.
Optimize the stack
Oversee automation, lead scoring, nurture workflows, and attribution in Marketo, Salesforce, and our broader martech ecosystem.
Build and lead a high-performance team
Hire, mentor, and inspire demand gen marketers to deliver outsized results.
You Have
10+ years in demand generation or growth marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of scaling pipeline in B2B SaaS, ideally in both PLG and sales-assisted motions.
Mastery of funnel metrics
CAC, CPL, conversion rates, velocity, attribution models
and how to move them.
Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (Marketo, Salesforce, Looker, etc.).
Strategic and tactical range
able to design a growth plan and personally execute when needed.
Relentlessly data-driven but unafraid to take bold creative bets.
Strong collaborator who builds trust and alignment across sales, marketing, and operations.
Passion for testing, iterating, and scaling what works.
