It Business Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, New Jersey location. Duties: Address data quality concerns and issues associated with the North American (NAM) products. Work in partnership with different business and functions to execute Consent Orders from the regulators, meticulously adhering to the Data Operating Model (DOM) in implementing and validating the right measures. Use domain knowledge in banking with focus on mortgages, personal loans, credit cards, and deposits products to identify effective solutions for data concerns pertaining to various products involving different systems. Employ expertise in relational database management systems for data extraction from large datasets on Hadoop/Oracle platform, using SQL and Hive. Perform data profiling and data manipulation, and conduct thorough impact analysis across all downstream systems. Assess the data quality and data profiling for data used in various regulatory reporting including Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), Basel and Federal Deposits Insurance Corporation reporting, and FR2052a liquidity reporting. Onboard new data elements and new products, while ensuring data traceability, data profiling, data mining and data lineage. Manage data definitions, data mapping, and data dictionaries for identified data concerns and prioritized use cases. Create and maintain dashboards and reports highlighting the progress of remediation efforts in terms of technical metrics, systems involved, and data frameworks. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Manager, IT Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, or related position performing data quality management in support of regulatory reporting for financial services institutions. 7 years of experience must include: Developing compliance strategies in order to address Consent Orders by the Federal Reserve Board and Office of Comptroller of the Currency as they relate to data and risk controls; Working with banking products, including mortgages, personal loans, credit cards and deposits products; Banking data housing platform; Defining and maintaining optimal data quality for regulatory reporting, including CCAR and Basel; Data quality check and rectification of anomalies; Project and team management using Jira and Kanban; Data extraction, analysis and manipulation using SQL, Hive, Hue; and Hadoop and Oracle databases. Wage Range: $180,900 to $205,000
