Maintenance Technician
Contributes to the fulfillment of the CHI Health mission and vision by providing for the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electro-mechanical systems, including all security systems. Contributes to the planning, design, and implementation of maintenance programs, policies, and procedures. Specific environmental attributes include maintaining and repairing equipment, buildings and grounds. Works collaboratively with management to achieve system objectives which are responsive to specific patient needs by fostering a continuous improvement philosophy to serve the needs of all customers. Has contact with other staff and staff of other CHI Health facilities, but does not have direct patient contact. Responsible for repair and maintenance of all hospital-owned buildings and grounds. Works in conjunction with CHI Health BIOMED or Bio-Electronics to ensure a preventive maintenance program promoting safe and effective use of medical equipment is operational and on-going.
