Reporting to the Associate VP, Enrollment & Dean of Admissions, the Director, International Admissions provides strategic oversight and leadership of all international recruitment and admission efforts. The Director is responsible for increasing international enrollment in priority nation markets, managing external partnerships, and serving as a key liaison across campus to enhance international enrollment outcomes. The Director will work collaboratively across institutional divisions to build pathways, strengthen engagement with international counselors and agencies, and support international student success from initial contact to enrollment. The Director supervises professional admission staff and supports the development and execution of strategic international recruitment initiatives aligned with institutional goals. Essential Job Duties

Lead and manage the development and implementation of international recruitment strategies with a focus on territory performance, inquiry generation, yield optimization, and market growth. Supervise and support international staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, and ongoing professional development of professional team members and external in-country representatives. Oversee recruitment activities including high school visits, counselor engagement, college fairs, virtual and in-person presentations, and information sessions in key international markets. Track the effectiveness and ROI of international travel and referral sources using CRM (Slate) dashboards and reports. Maintain collaborative relationships with external partners (including school counselors, agents, college access organizations, and global education networks) to drive enrollment pipeline development. Collaborate with the Dean of Admission and senior leadership to shape international admission policies, practices, and selection criteria. Support evaluation of undergraduate for admission counselors and graduate applications for faculty reviewers, with an emphasis on international transcripts conversion and credential evaluation in accordance with holistic review standards. Serve as liaison with the Office of International Student Affairs, Office of Global Engagement, and other key campus stakeholders to support the onboarding and transition of international students. Coordinate and lead training for both internal staff and external partners on international admissions practices. Provide guidance and training to staff on evaluating international credentials, language proficiency, and global grading systems. Collaborate with the Dean of Admission and faculty stakeholders to establish and refine international selection criteria. Monitor international application trends and recommend adjustments to reading strategies and reviewer calibration to support yield and quality goals. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred. At least seven (7) years of progressive experience in international undergraduate recruiting and admission is required. Demonstrated leadership and supervision experience is required. Deep knowledge of international recruitment strategies, admission policy, and credential evaluation is required. Experienced in different national trends of higher education enrollment, specific country marketing tactics, and in-country recruiting and travel planning is required. Significant experience leading international admissions and recruitment teams is preferred. Demonstrated success in international market development and long-term territory management is preferred. Experience working with various student populations and cross-cultural communication is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Expertise with CRM systems, particularly Technolutions Slate, is preferred. Proficiency with office technology and CRM platforms (Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.) is required. Strong technical and analytical skills. Strong customer service skills. Experience with CRM systems and reporting. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including cross-cultural communication. Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work. Ability to effectively work with individuals with diverse backgrounds. Ability to diffuse emotional or tense situations and offer viable solutions. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Strategic and analytical thinking skills with an ability to negotiate, solve problems and make effective decisions. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with the public, prospective, and current international students and agents, as well as college faculty, staff, and administrators. Knowledge of federal immigration policies and regulations, including SEVIS. Physical Abilities

Ability to perform physical requirements of the position, including carrying informational materials, walking distances, extended time standing, and flying for multiple hours to different countries. Routinely requires sitting at a desk and viewing a display screen for extended periods. Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing on the telephone and a computer for extended periods. Routinely requires moderate (up to 40 pounds) lifting and carrying. Routinely requires walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, reaching up, twisting, and bending. Work Environment

Typical office environment. Travel domestically and internationally may be required Compensation: $101,200.00 - $126,500.00 annually, commensurate with experience.
