Manufacturing Technician
We have an exciting opportunity at our Mesa, Arizona facility for a Manufacturing Technician in our CMP slurries group. Our CMP Manufacturing Technicians support receiving and cleaning containers, monitoring distillations, and packaging containers. Prepare new drums and totes for filling, including labeling. Fill and package drums and totes. Sample and test production material. Charging and monitoring process tanks. Obtain forklift certification and perform material handling operations as assigned. Correctly document containers processed as required by standard operating procedure, including manual and electronic logs, forms, and labels. Operate manual and automated equipment in support of job functions. Must be capable of making necessary mechanical connections for tank systems. Communicate equipment status and outages to the lead and other supervision, as needed for correct, safe operation. Assist maintenance to troubleshoot and operate equipment for repair activities. Maintain job associated certifications and tasks above the basic level. Maintain EHS and other facility training current. Assist with operational, quality, and safety reviews, as assigned. Requirements
High school diploma or GED Strong communication skills Demonstrated abilities to work independently and as a team 0-2 years manufacturing experience in related industry Strong troubleshooting skills Strong mechanical aptitude a plus Good computer skills a plus Ability to lift at 60 lbs. Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs. Perform other duties, as assigned. Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization Must have a valid Arizona drivers' license and clean driving record Ability to work varied shifts to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
