About This Role

The Senior Data Center Technician will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems. In This Role You Will:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections of data center hardware, including servers, storage devices, networking equipment and cabling Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues, coordinating with vendors for repairs or replacements as needed Deploy, install, configure, and maintain server and network hardware Monitor server performance and take proactive measures to prevent downtime Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard data center assets and prevent unauthorized access Maintain and document detailed records of equipment inventory, maintenance activities, and system configurations Follow disaster recovery plans to minimize data center downtime Respond to critical issues as required to minimize any business-impacting outages in and out of normal business hours We're Looking For Someone With:

5+ years of experience in Data Center Operations and Engineering Technical certifications or a related degree preferred Prior experience with large-scale (20+ cabinet) deployments and/or data center builds Familiarity with logistics and transport procedures is a plus Proficiency in data center hardware, networking and server technologies Strong understanding of cabling standards, patch panel design, and network physical topologies/connectivity Strong familiarity with Linux operating systems and server virtualization technologies Competence in data center management tools and software Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to interact with various Engineering teams Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 operational environment Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to climb and work on a ladder or lift Ability to travel within the US and Internationally when needed Perks and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is: $102,000 - $110,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI). For Los Angeles-Based Applicants:
