Lab Technician
No degree required / Entry-Level Lab Experience Needed! Key Responsibilities
Conduct analytical tests following documented procedures, managing multiple analyses simultaneously while aiming to exceed accuracy and performance standards. Inspect sample integrity and labeling; report discrepancies to the Supervisor/Manager and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Prepare and submit assay reports in the required format for managerial approval. Monitor and maintain equipment calibration; make adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy. Review laboratory data for completeness, consistency, and precision. Assist in method development and validation activities. Participate in shift handovers, clearly communicating the status of ongoing analyses and pending tasks. Contribute to the creation and delivery of training materials related to methods, equipment, quality standards, and procedures. Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma required; a degree or certification in chemistry is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in wet chemistry Familiarity with sample preparation and instrumental techniques such as ICP, ICP-MS, Acid/Base Titrations, and XRF is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels. Competence in statistical reasoning, formula manipulation, and basic calculations involving volume, mass, atomic and weight percentages, density, molecular weights, and charge weights.
