Vast array of voluntary benefits Position Overview: The Reach Truck Operator position is responsible to operate a high reach truck to move palletized material throughout the Distribution Center. This position is required to communicate with other Associates consistently to ensure materials and product are paced in proper location positions. Responsibilities: Inspect equipment and complete inspection sheets to ensure that equipment is safe and operable for the daily assignment. Provide support to all departments by responding to radio requests for assistance. Work within the assigned zone to remove or replace pallets of merchandise. Use AS400 onboard monitor to determine movement and placement of pallets. Use RF guns to properly scan product out of and into correct locations. Correct location errors when observed. Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures. Meet minimum productivity standards. Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required. Must be able to operate all equipment necessary to perform the role. This includes but is not limited to pallet jacks, various styles of forklifts, and other Material Handling Equipment as needed. Ability to use an RF scanner as needed. Ability to use an RF 2-way radio to communicate as needed. Ability to work independently and self-motivated to seek work. Ability and willingness to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures. Ability to complete assignments in time allotted. Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done) Moderate use of Microsoft 365 applications as needed, including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds. Ability to bend and twist frequently. Ability to work regularly at a maximum height of four flights of stairs. Must have ability to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ollie's is an equal opportunity employer.
