Business Development Officer

As a Business Development Officer, you will drive the growth of new business by acquiring high-net-worth individuals, family offices, endowments, and foundations as clients. Working closely with Relationship Managers, Investment and Wealth Specialists, and other sales professionals, you will implement business development strategies and cultivate relationships with key referral sources. You will also play a lead role in promotional events and seminars, enhancing CIBC's market presence and expanding the client base. This role operates in an office environment, with frequent travel required. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 for the Milwaukee, WI market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
