Senior Project Manager
The Ecolab/Nalco Water Global Industrial Engineering Team has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager. You will be responsible for independently performing project management functions and will direct, coordinate, and manage design, fabrication, and commissioning of water pre-treatment systems, chemical feed, control, and instrumentation packages. What's in it For You: You will join a growth company offering a competitive base salary and benefit A long term, advancing career path in engineering Access to the industry's most innovative training programs A culture that values safety first, including training and personal protection Pride in working for a company that provides clean water, safe food, abundant energy, and healthy environments What You Will Do: Provide project engineering services for capital equipment and system upgrade/retrofit projects Support all phases of a project from initial design/cost estimating, client proposal development through fabrication, installation to start-up and commissioning of packaged equipment systems Conduct site surveys and client meetings Prepare system proposals for submission to clients and end users Prepare data sheets and equipment specifications Develop P&IDs/PFDs Resolve application questions/problems and making equipment recommendations for "non-project" situations Utilize standard project management tools to maintain project budgets and monitor delivery schedules to ensure the successful "on time" and "under budget" completion of projects. Prepare/complete final project documentation (drawings, data sheets, etc.) Provide technical support to marketing and field sales as assigned 100% compliance on all safety metrics and initiatives Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an accepted engineering or technical discipline and 6 years technical experience in industrial environments Ability to travel 30% No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity Preferred Qualifications: Five plus years of experience in Project Engineering with chemical dosing system, bulk storage equipment or instrumentation Experience with Water pre-treatment equipment (reverse osmosis, demineralization, filtration, softening) or Food & Beverage Cleaning equipment experience with equipment selection, sizing, start-up, and commissioning Excellent written and oral communications skills. Application engineering or inside sales experience; experience working in an EPC environment Knowledge of materials of construction and water treatment chemistry. PMI certification; AutoCAD experience. Experience in designing skid mounted equipment packages Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
