IT Application Engineer Salesforce

to drive the design, configuration, and support of our Salesforce platform. This role combines solution architecture with hands-on system configuration and user support. The ideal candidate is both strategic and technical, able to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions while ensuring the platform is running smoothly for all users. Work Structure This position needs to be based in Texas in proximity to Houston for visits to our office. There is hybrid and remote flexibility, but it is not a fully remote position. Participation in on-call rotation for critical issues or after-hours maintenance. Occasional travel to data centers or branch offices as needed. Position Responsibilities

Analyze business processes and requirements to design scalable Salesforce solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to define best practices, governance, and roadmap alignment. Drive project implementation in alignment with business goals. Advise and closely collaborate with external consultants and developers. Configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and other relevant setups. Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and Lightning pages. Coordinate the resolution of Salesforce-related support issues. Monitor system performance and data integrity and conduct regular audits. Maintain technical documentation, process diagrams, and configuration guides. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. 5+ years of functional Salesforce consulting experience. Experience in software architecture and technical design in CRM systems. Exposure to Apex, SOQL, and integration concepts (REST, SOAP). Salesforce certifications are highly appreciated. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
