CNC Operator
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Industrial Machine Operator with experience in operating heavy machinery and the ability to read measurement tools such as tape measures and micrometers/calipers. The role involves setting up products onto machinery, following detailed instructions, and ensuring product accuracy through precise measurements. Responsibilities
Operate heavy industrial machines efficiently. Read and interpret tape measures, micrometers, and calipers. Set up products on machinery and follow step-by-step instructions for operation. Measure products to ensure accuracy and notify maintenance if tolerances are off. Conduct minimal deburring of products. Utilize a hand crane to move material off the production line. Meet minimum production output requirements. Complete documentation of errors, measurements, and product completion. Maintain a clean work area. Essential Skills
Experience in heavy industrial or steel fabrication and steel cutting. Proficiency in machine operation or CNC operation. Ability to read and interpret measurement tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read basic blueprints. Experience with calipers and blueprint interpretation. Why Work Here?

The facility currently employs 120 workers and is expanding to accommodate three full shifts. It consists of two separate buildings that are older and undergoing upgrades. The environment is loud, dirty, and can be hot in summer or cold in winter. You will work within specific departments alongside a supervisor and a dedicated team. The facility includes large areas for CNC machinery, welding booths, and racking systems. Steel-toed shoes are required for safety. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dyer, Indiana. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.40 - $21.40/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
