Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing production machines and facility equipment. This role involves conducting emergency and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime, performing mechanical duties including machining and welding, and using hand and power tools. The technician will read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders, diagnose issues, replace parts, and make adjustments to ensure equipment efficiency. Preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities is also a key responsibility, along with maintaining plumbing and carpentry systems as needed. Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment. Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime. Perform mechanical duties including machining, welding, and using hand/power tools. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders. Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make adjustments to ensure equipment efficiency. Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities. Maintain plumbing and carpentry systems as needed. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas. Coordinate with external technicians for complex repairs. Document maintenance activities and communicate with supervisors on equipment status. Essential Skills
