We are currently seeking an IT PMO Lead - Remote to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US). Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT PMO Lead to drive strategic planning, governance, and execution of IT projects across the organization, with a specific focus on pharma and manufacturing environments. The role will involve managing cross-functional teams, aligning projects with compliance frameworks, and optimizing delivery performance in regulated settings. Minimum Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project/program management roles. Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT portfolios in pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing industries. Minimum 2 years of experience leading enterprise-level ERP, digital transformation, or systems integration projects. Minimum 2 years of experience with project governance frameworks and managing compliance with industry standards such as GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO. Experience with project financial management, including budget planning, forecasting, and cost control. Experience implementing and improving Agile project execution practices. Proven experience in managing KPIs, metrics, and status reporting across multiple stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. PMP, PgMP, or an equivalent project management certification (completed or in progress). Preferred Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing diverse stakeholder groups. Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of mentoring and developing PMO staff. Experience coordinating between IT and business teams in cross-functional settings. Ability to drive continuous improvement culture within PMO functions. Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms. Key Responsibilities

Lead and evolve the IT PMO function, including portfolio oversight, project intake, and resource planning. Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and standardized delivery processes. Collaborate with IT leaders, business units, and external partners to define and deliver strategic technology initiatives. Drive Agile adoption, reporting best practices, and team-level process enhancements. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for all IT initiatives. Track project and portfolio health indicators, mitigate risks, and ensure delivery aligns with business goals. Provide coaching and performance development support to PMO and project management staff.
