The Treasury Operations Business Lead will be a member of the Wireroom within the Treasury Operations group within the Investment and Capital Markets Division. The position primarily supports the timely and accurate processing and reporting of funds and security wires and plays an important role in reducing payment risk. Our Impact
Treasury Operations is responsible for ensuring that cash activity is processed in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines for the entire company. Investments and Capital Markets is responsible for handling our mortgage-related investments portfolio, single-family securitization activities, and treasury function. Your Impact
Overseeing and processing the daily processing of cash/securities wires as well as ACH in support of the firm's business lines Ensuring the completion of reconciliations with banks and clearing firms along with same-day corrections, additions, and deletions Identifying, monitoring and mitigating operational risks Leading responses to audit inquiries Ensuring the group can effectively respond in the event of a resiliency event Leading specialized projects or programs on behalf of the organization Counseling top management and customers on payment related matters Qualifications
College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred 8 - 10 years with Treasury Operations and project management related experience Keys to Success in this Role: Strong written/verbal communication and project management skills Ability to develop resolutions to complex problems that require the use of ingenuity and creativity Proactive approach to preventing and resolving issues Passion for continuous improvement Ability to work both independently and in teams Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.
