Forklift Operator
We are seeking an experienced Yard Material Handler to join our team. This role is critical to our operations, involving the safe and efficient movement of heavy industrial materials using large forklifts with a capacity of 40,00060,000 lbs. The ideal candidate will have experience in outdoor material handling and be able to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat during summer and cold in winter. The Yard Material Handler plays a vital role in ensuring that production lines are supplied on time and that our logistics operations run smoothly. Responsibilities
Operate large-capacity industrial forklifts to move heavy materials and equipment throughout the yard. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and staging areas with precision and care. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment. Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow. Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures. Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating large forklifts (40,000+ lbs). Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat. Strong understanding of load balancing, rigging, and safe material handling practices. Ability to read and follow work orders, load sheets, and safety documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA forklift certification is a plus. Experience in unloading, material handling, loading, and general labor. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
