We are seeking a General Driver at our Huntsville, AL facility. Operating and driving vehicles, transporting people or goods from one location to another. Responsibilities include transporting materials, merchandise, and equipment over land, inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, planning routes, and documenting work/rest periods and miles spent driving. Qualifications include possessing a valid driver's license and, depending on the vehicle type, a Class A, Class B, Class C or other type of Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Basic Qualifications: Highly accurate workmanship, great attention to detail Valid drivers license/ CDL Ability to operate a computer and learn to execute required transactions Capable of obtaining and maintaining a forklift license Must have or be willing to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance Must be a United States citizen Interim clearance required to start Desired Skills: ATS knowledge Forklift certification HazMat certification Great communication skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
