Financial Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Stamford, CT. This role will be instrumental in providing data-driven insights, supporting decision-making, and ensuring the accuracy of financial planning and reporting processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and can communicate complex information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports on performance, trends, and variances. Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to management. Collaborate with department leaders to prepare budgets and track actual results against projections. Assist in month-end and quarter-end reporting, including variance analysis and reconciliations. Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and investment decisions. Ensure financial data integrity by maintaining accurate records and following established controls. Prepare presentations and visual reports for senior leadership to facilitate informed decision-making. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred. 24 years of financial analysis, corporate finance, or related experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions; experience with financial modeling and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
