Histologic Technician
Virginia Mason Medical Center, Seattle, Washington The posted compensation range of $29.03 - $43.84/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This position prepares and stains tissue specimens for microscopic examinations by the pathologist to demonstrate disease processes. We deliver inspired people to do meaningful work. We require an understanding of anatomy, chemistry, mathematics, immunology, microtomy staining, excellent hand-eye coordination, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to be organized. HT(ASCP) eligible or attending an HT track school preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
