A Sr. System MFG technician is responsible for the manufacturing of our Growth Direct equipment, often with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. The primary duties include assembling parts, integrating and commissioning capital equipment, performing quality control checks, and ensuring adherence to safety/quality standards. This position may also be involved in troubleshooting machine issues, performing minor repairs, and assisting with the training of less experienced technicians. Essential Job Functions

Machine manufacturing: Assemble components (subassemblies or finished products), potentially including wiring, soldering, and integrating parts. Quality Control: Conduct in-process quality checks such as basic electrical or mechanical tests on the systems to ensure they meet established standards. Software: Install and perform basic troubleshooting of software performance issues. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor equipment issues and assist with more complex repairs. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, quality checks, and equipment maintenance. Material Handling: Staging, loading, and unloading materials, sometimes using equipment like pallet jacks. This position may also be involved in cycle counts, verifying goods received, and maintaining stock levels. Education & Experience

4+ years of relevant experience Highschool or equivalent education Technical Skills

Proficiency in operating and maintaining production equipment, potentially including CNC machines, assembly lines, or other specialized machinery Ability to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety protocols. Experience in machine integration, mechanical design modifications, and troubleshooting. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in quality checks, data recording, and assembly processes) Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and identify solutions Safety Awareness: Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures Demonstrated ability to work in a team and communicate effectively about any issues or concerns. Working Conditions

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. May be required to stand for extended periods, lift moderate (up to 50 lbs) weights, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional environmental odors may be present. On-site role (no remote/hybrid work) with occasional off-shift or weekend support.
