The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Rheumatology, Assistant/Associate/Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Role of the Position Responsibilities will include patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings as well as supervision and teaching of Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students. The program is affiliated with the University Medical Center (UMC) of Southern Nevada, and offers a comprehensive mix of inpatient and ambulatory teaching experiences. Profile of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV has been Transforming Healthcare in Southern Nevada since 2017. Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate must have an M.D. or D.O. degree and successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program and be board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology, prior to start date. If board eligible, certification must be completed within the first two years of employment. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment. Candidates must be able to possess and maintain a Nevada State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA license. Nevada medical license must be obtained prior to start date, malpractice coverage meet credentialing requirements and must be able to obtain privileges at University Medical Center (UMC) and other site locations as needed.
